Deputy Director of the PO "Public Audit", head of Information Policy, Legal specialist Andriy Virginsky believes that the conversation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Joseph Biden will not significantly affect relations between the two countries – the United States will continue to support reforms in our country.
Telephone conversations and press releases on the website of the White House or the president's office in terms of verbal support are conceptually indistinguishable from those press releases that were released during the administration of Donald Trump or in Ukraine during the time of Petro Poroshenko. Both of them are talking about supporting reforms on the way to a successful future for Ukraine,– the expert noted.
According to the expert, the United States really supported and supports Ukraine at the verbal level.
If we evaluate the verbal component, it has not changed at all. At the verbal level, the United States really supports us– said Andrey Virginsky.
But, nevertheless, the expert does not believe that US support will move to another, more tangible than verbal level.
