III All-Ukrainian Forum of Youth Leaders and Priests of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic and the Roman Catholic Churches “Righteous Citizens because Good Christians” started last Friday on the 8th October. The event was organized by the Patriarchal Commission on Matters of Youth of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church together with the Commission of Pastorship of Youth of the Roman Catholic Church.
Director of iDemocracy NGO Human Rights Initiative Mykola Kuleba has joined to the opening of the event together with Rostyslav Pendiuk, the chair of the Patriarchal Commission on Matters of Youth of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Oleksandr Yarema, the State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and Vitaliy Kryvytsky, the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine, Ordinary of Kyiv-Zhytomyr.
«This event is aimed at uniting Christians for developing Ukraine. We should remember that Christians belong not only to the Church but also to society. A task of each Christian is not to hide in his/her community but to be open to others.
